Ken and Victoria Slater, two longtime filmmaker and entertainment executives will be live at LYFE Public House to discuss their amazing careers, provide insights on working in and out of Hollywood.

Ken Slater began his 30+ year career as a cinematographer before starting his own company and producing and directing in film and television as well as over 500 commercials. His production and post-production work has been seen on CBS, Discovery Channel, and Lifetime. As well producing documentaries on our National Parks, and on Mel Gibson’s Passion of the Christ.

Victoria Slater served as a production executive and director of development for TransWorld Pictures before eventually being named to the Board of Directors of the Producers Guild of America, where she spent 9 years leading the PGA. Victoria’s production work involved the films Star Trek VII: Generations with William Shatner and Patrick Stewart, Volcano with Tommy Lee Jones, and the hit series Baywatch. Victoria is also the author of “How to Negotiate without Freaking Out.”

As a partnership in business and marriage, Ken and Victoria have run a successful production company, Moving Pictures, and currently live in the Coeur d’Alene area with their two dogs.
